On February 17, 2018, Bartoszyce celebrated its 686th birthday. The official celebrations took place in the Bartoszyce Cultural Center. A traditional cake cut and served by Wojciech Krakowiński (Infinyty Group). The CEO also handed a gift board with the wishes of successful development, at the same time congratulating and revealing the city's development prospects.

The Saturday celebration was marked by a verbal and music program prepared by Bartoszycki Dom Kultury and an operetta performance by Jolanta Sołowa with the accompaniment of Ewa Wankiewicz.
